On June 12, 2025, the Government promulgated Decree No. 131/2025/ND-CP providing for the allocation of powers between the two-tier local government system in the state management sectors under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. The Decree aims to clarify the responsibilities and authority of different levels of local government in carrying out state management tasks in the field of environment.
