On 11 December 2025, the National Assembly promulgated Law No. 146/2025/QH15 amending and supplementing a number of articles of 15 laws in the fields of agriculture and environment.
Article 1 of the Law focuses on amendments to the Law on Environmental Protection, including 35 amended and supplemented provisions, 01 repealed provision, and 01 replaced provision, with the aim of improving the legal framework and enhancing the effectiveness of state management in the fields of agriculture and environment.
The Law takes effect from 01 January 2026.
